Ashley Thomas is an attorney at Reddy & Neumann, P.C. who specializes in employment-based non-immigrant visas. Ashley’s practice covers all phases of the visa process including filing petitions, responding to Requests for Evidence (RFE), and drafting motions and appeals. She has completed over 200 RFE’s to date in response to H-1B, L-1, I-140, and OPT petitions.
Ashley earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law in May 2018. During her time in law school, Ashley served as President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Advocates, an organization dedicated to the practical application of dispute resolution policies and procedures. She earned several accolades participating in alternative dispute resolution competitions across the country, including 1st Place Advocate/Client Team at the International Law School Mediation Tournament and 1st Place at the ABA Negotiation Competition. Ashley’s passion for immigration law began when she participated in the Asylum and Human Trafficking Legal Clinic at South Texas College of Law. There she gained valuable legal experience working directly with indigent clients in preparing asylum, T visa, and U visa applications.
Ashley decided to continue to pursue a career in immigration and joined Reddy & Neumann as a law clerk in 2017. She hopes to continue to play a role in helping individuals start their life in the United States as well as help them navigate the complex and difficult immigration process.
